...Most Christian leaders list it as one of their ministry’s top priorities. There is no doubt that evangelism is central to what we are supposed to be about. But we must be honest; we are not tapping into the evangelistic potential that is right in our backyard.

What will it take to have the widespread impact that we were meant to have? First, we have to love those who do not yet know Christ and take steps to lead them toward Him. Second, we have to realize that we already know the mission field. We already have relationships with neighbors, friends, coworkers, and family members who do not know Christ. Personal, relational evangelism will play a vital role in our success.
