Write Your Testimony
In Sunday's sermon Pastor Montia encouraged everyone to write out their
testimony. Here are a few guidelines to get you started.
1. Prepare your heart through prayer.
Matthew 9:37-38
2. Start writing your testimony. Avoid
jargon words
a. What was your life like before you met Jesus?
b. How did you become a Christian?
c. What difference has Jesus made in your life?
3. Keep it to 3 minutes or less but be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
4. Trust in God's power, not your own.
Joshua 1:9;
Philippians 4:13;
1 Corinthians 2:1-5
Remember, the key is obedience, not "knowing it all."
2 Corinthians 9:13
Fictitious Examples: The
wrong way; the
right way.

Pray for Opportunities to Share
Montia also encouraged us to pray for opportunities to share that testimony.
Let Montia know of any experience you had; whether you feel it was
successful or not. Remember, some sow, some water, and some harvest.
We never know what role we will play in someone's life. |
