MOPS stands for
Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with
children from infancy through kindergarten. MOPS groups meet in churches
throughout the United States, Canada, and 19 other countries. The women are
of many ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire - to be the best
mothers they can be. MOPS recognizes
that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a
mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. MOPS helps moms
through relationships established in the context of local groups like this
one that provide a caring atmosphere for today’s mother of young children.

What
is a MOPS Morning Like? |
Thursday mornings at MOPS include topics relating to marriage,
child-rearing, family fun, and much more. Small group discussions provide
the opportunity to develop friendships, as well as offer and receive
encouragement. Meetings usually include a speaker and/or craft as well as a
light breakfast.
If
you’re a mother of a preschooler (any child from birth – kindergarten), MOPS
@MAG has something to offer you. In addition to support, encouragement,
activities, and fun, MOPS helps you connect with other mothers and develop
meaningful relationships in an understanding environment.
