Congregational Update #2

Magnolia Church Family, 

Your Lead Pastor Search Team has been hard at prayer and at work. After three months of gathering resumes and candidates, we have gone from roughly 50 interested pastors to three. We’ve been praying as Abraham’s servant did… that God would show us the one… His anointed man.

In the Gospel Project Bible Study, we just studied the battle of Jericho. Six times, they walked around the walls once per day. Six months we’ve been praying. Then, on the seventh day, they walked around seven times, blowing the trumpets and shouting. During this seventh month of prayer, I would ask you to pray with seven times the effort. This is a critical month. Let’s ask God to reveal His anointed man. And ask God to speak to His anointed man, confirming God’s calling to Magnolia Church.
